Krishna Pabari, Managing Director
Krishna Pabari has been director of the Pabari Family Office for over 25 years. Krishna's insight into the South East Queensland property market, business cycles, and strategic investment approaches has consistently yielded positive outcomes for clients and investors alike. He offers a comprehensive range of expertise to Acquire's clients, encompassing strategic property investment, development, funding, legal issues, and financial instruments such as shares, options, bonds, and financing. He is committed to creating new housing in Queensland. Krishna believes financial success stems not only from the balance sheet but doing business in an ethical, responsible, and thoughtful way. Krishna holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Graduate Certificate in Family Business. He is admitted as a Solicitor in Queensland, an is Associate of the Australian Property Institute, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course.
Jon Pepper boasts over three decades of experience in the finance sector, spanning traditional bank lending, branch management, property and business finance, as well as secured short-term lending and retail banking. His expertise extends to credit management, control, recovery, and general operations management. After more than ten years in banking, he established AUSEC Finance, which specialises in sourcing capital from investors via debenture issues. AUSEC Finance later amalgamated with Pabari Capital and Acquire, enhancing our client services with Jon's expertise and ethical approach. He excels in innovative problem-solving to devise appropriate solutions, conducting thorough due diligence to minimise risk while swiftly providing options and results for clients. Jon possesses a Diploma of Mortgage Lending and played a pivotal role in AUSEC's acquisition of its Australian Financial Services License.
Kej Somaia is Managing Director of Sobu Capital, an investment advisory firm to family offices and co-investors in private capital. He joined Acquire as a Director in January 2024. Kej brings over twenty years of experience in multi-asset investing, enhancing our team's capabilities in investment management, portfolio construction, and client relations. Prior to Sobu Capital he was most recently Co-Head of Multi-Asset Solutions at First Sentier Investors, where he successfully managed more than A$5 billion in multi-asset funds and mandates. Kej is passionate about connecting investors with innovative investment solutions. He is excited to contribute his extensive knowledge to the evolving sector of private credit. Kej earned his Bachelor of Business with a major in Banking & Finance from QUT, holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from FINSIA, and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course.
